Charles Street School (CSS) has an enrollment of approximately 500 students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Kindergarten is a full-day program and sixth grade is departmentalized.  The educational emphasis is on meeting the needs of the whole child. Meaningful instruction is provided to each student. Special education, 504 provisions and Gifted and Talented programs are provided as indicated. All students take part in the related arts program which includes: Art, Music, World Language and Health and Physical Education. Child care is available from the end of the school day until 5:45PM for a
reasonable cost.
