Welcome to the Delaware Avenue School. We are a small,
caring school that provides special needs programs for
preschool students. Our educational mission is to maximize
every child's potential in the areas of language
development, social skills, and fine and gross motor
development. We pride ourselves in developing meaningful and
challenging opportunities for students to experiment,
problem solve, connect, and communicate their learning.
Our staff are dually
certified as nursery school teachers and special education
teachers. Additionally, a part time speech therapist is on
staff. Occupational and physical therapists are contracted
through the Burlington County Educational Services Unit.
Each classroom is equipped with a computer and all
classrooms are internet accessible. Technology is utilized
throughout the curriculum, which we feel provides immediate
reinforcement, stimulation, and enhancement of the necessary
language base for higher level learning experiences.
